Mr. Appel joined Aisling Capital in March 2008 and serves as Chief Financial Officer. He recently served as the CFO of LaGrange Capital, a hedge fund, and was CFO of Artemis Advisors prior to that. Previously, he was the Controller of ING Furman Selz Asset Management, a firm with approximately $20 billion under management. He has also served as Controller of MJM Partners and Assistant Controller of Millennium Partners. Mr. Appel spent nearly eight years at BDO Seidman, LLP, a large national public accounting firm, where he attained the role of Audit Manager.
